The Animals of Nanny Rock

In and around the Nanny Rock are plenty of animals, and you never know what you will see. Almost every animal in the Southeast except alligators has been seen in the neighborhood.

Deer, turkey, chipmunks, squirrels, wood ducks, and raccoons are all frequent visitors here. Some rarer sights you may see around the area include snakes, foxes, and even eagles. Bears are not a concern here, but they have been slowly making their way back across the Cumberland Plateau after nearly disappearing some years earlier.
